This villa was a milestone in our architectural journey. Created in 1989, the project cleverly mixes the characteristic style of residential architecture that has evolved in Marbella with classic Asian style, such as large decks with cantilevers joined by wooden structures to make outdoor living spaces.

The rooms of the villa were arranged in accordance with our core criterion: to separate the more private area of the house, such as bedrooms and family rooms, from the more social areas, such as living rooms, the dining room, entrances, foyer, kitchen and service areas. These spaces, located at either end of the house, are connected by a large exterior pergola which forms an outer porch that can be used during most of the year in Marbella. This element, as well the extremes that serve as a foundation for the large roof and its supports, emphasises the horizontal layout of the house, creating a feeling of spaciousness on a pleasant and harmonious scale.

“Simplicity in architecture, in its shape, in its final form, will result in the observer’s pleasure in being able to interpret it clearly.”
