This project was preceded by the first Kabuki japanese restaurant, located at Calle Presidente Carmona, 2, in Madrid, which received significant media coverage. Previous circumstances meant that developing this second Kabuki in Madrid’s renowned Wellington Hotel was a major challenge.
The premises presented some difficulties as there were several spaces at different heights. We used this feature to create varied spaces and environments within the whole. The interior design reflects the ceremonial aspects expected from a restaurant of this kind, and both the colours and materials used provide harmony to the spaces, creating a cosy, warm and comfortable atmosphere.
