This townhouse is perched on the edge of the Aloha golf course, in Marbella, facing southeast. The original construction offered few views and little natural light because of its small windows and their position and orientation. It also lacked space for outdoor life, which is so in demand in this area. The goal of the intervention was to address these shortcomings.
As a key feature, a large lounge was created with a large window in the corner, bringing more light to the building and integrating the outdoor with the indoor. This window opens out onto a new covered veranda that wraps around the front of the house, containing the outside lounge and dining areas and integrating all the spaces with their environment. The design employs contemporary lines to combine all elements of the design.
