Pueblo Don Thomas is a comprehensive residential development located in La Gomera, developed by Fred Olsen. The project stands out for its careful integration with the natural landscape and its low-density urban planning, characteristic of high-quality residential tourism architecture in the Canary Islands.
Prject Scope
Phase 1
142 apartments organized in colonia-style buildings, with 2 and 3-bedroom units of 135 m².
30 isolated single-family villas with private swimming pools, ranging from 190 to 220 m².
Phase 2
Apartments in colonia configuration of 125 m² and 135 m².
Attached townhouses (viviendas unifamiliares adosadas) of 135 – 140 m², located on individual plots between 221 m² and 318 m².
Total constructed area: 80,000 m²
Architectural Concept
MS DESIGN – Marcos Sainz has designed Pueblo Don Thomas with a contemporary language that respects the traditional Canary Island architecture while incorporating modern spatial qualities. The project prioritizes:
Optimal orientation and natural light
Generous outdoor spaces and terraces
Visual integration with the golf course and surrounding environment
High-quality residential typologies adapted to different user profiles
The masterplan includes a complete set of communal facilities: golf course, social club with restaurant, swimming pools, putting green, and commercial services, all designed under the same architectural criteria of coherence and environmental sensitivity.
