This villa, situated in La Zagaleta complex, in Benahavís, was designed with classic, traditional lines of Andalusian architecture synthesised with folkloric elements. The property is located on a southwest facing slope, which means that all the viewpoints would inevitably be oriented towards the natural views of the valley and the sea. The location of the house was chosen in accordance with the contours of the slope, adapting to its incline and minimising the building’s impact on the environment.

The house is divided into several freestanding volumes, optimising views and areas for enjoying the sun. The different volumes are joined by towers and glazed corridors that overlook planted courtyards integrated with the interior. The layout of different volumes at different lev els and alignments with large sloping roofs achieves an ensemble that is at harmony with itself and its environment.
