This is a housing project developed in Las Iguanas Back Nine and La Romana de Caucana areas, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. These projects were very interesting, as we developed a unique property that could operate as three separate dwellings with hotel board arrangements. This approach, along with layouts characteristic of tropical architecture, was fundamental in achieving an open but enclosed architectural style and volumes, creating open interior spaces.

The homes were designed with a primarily horizontal layout, helping to provide a scale appropriate to the different volumes that make up the units. Through their evolution and connection through courtyards and corridors, indoor living spaces are shaped that are intrinsically connected with the outdoors, lending total fluidity to the housing and its environment.
