This project was submitted in the tender for the development of a new hotel in Cádiz, which involved the construction of the new Parador Hotel Atlántico on Avenida del Doctor Gómez Ulla, in Cádiz.

Located in the historic environs of the Castillo de Santa Catalina, the new hotel almost inevitably creates a symbolic milestone appropriate to the architectural heritage of its location but also uses aspects from contemporary architecture. The plan is for a building that blends this concept with the provisions for and requirements of a hotel. The lower two floors are created for strength, while the upper floors are treated with great lightness and movement, striving to achieve harmony within itself and with the environment.
