The fundamental premise of this design was to avoid the characteristic trivial and institutional image of schools, whilst maintaining the consistency and order necessary for planning the optimal use of the spaces. Another starting point was to adapt to a more flexible architectural style, creating a more human environment with proportional, comfortable spaces.

The school is entered via a one storey entrance building with a gabled roof to give a feeling of spaciousness. The reception and offices are here, and their walls do not reach the roof to give more visual depth. This space leads to a hall, which in turn leads to two semi free standing buildings that house the classrooms and other rooms, as well as the exit to the playground and sports facilities. The corridors leading to the classrooms are in the centre and both sides of the buildings have large windows, maximising the natural lighting in classrooms. The two classroom buildings are connected via a tower which houses the toilets, stairs, lift and evacuation slide for the three floors.
